ME/CFS Research Fund
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) is a medically unexplained disease with no known cure affecting an estimated 1 million Americans each year. Patients with ME/CFS are confronted by a chronic state of energy depletion resulting in symptoms of persistent debilitating physical and mental exhaustion. The NCRI is investigating the underlying brain responses involved in these symptoms to define the nature and the extent of extreme fatigue confronted by patients. Your contribution to this fund will help us define the path that may ultimately improve health and well-being.
